
We have added a new Automation page to requestbox. The page can be accessed from the new Automation menu item under Admin >> Build >> Automation (https://requestbox.net/requestbox/admin/automation).
Currently the Automation page allows the automation of Status changes. In the future this page will be extended to support other forms of automation.
Automation options
Select an automation – Select a new or existing automation to create or update.
Name – Description of automation.
Type – Status change – Automate the changing of a status. Additional automations to be added in the future.
Change status to – The status a request will be changed to if it meets the required criteria.
Trigger condition – When the automation will be run:
Daily – Update occurs within 24 hours and a request meets the “Requests where” condition.
Days after last status change – Update occurs the specified number of days after the status has been changed and the request meets the “Requests where” condition.
Days after last save – Update occurs the specified number of days after the request was last saved/updated and the request meets the “Requests where” condition.
After days – The number of days after the trigger condition an automation is run.
Requests where – The criteria a request must meet before a status change can occur.

Deprecation of the auto change statuses functionality (Manage Statuses page)
The automation of Status Changes on the Automation page supersedes the Auto Change Status (image below) functionality on the Manage Statuses page (https://requestbox.net/requestbox/admin/status). The Auto Change Status functionality will be removed in a future update. All existing auto change status configurations will be migrated to an automation configuration.
